Founded in 2010, OSL is a leading UK integrator of counter-drone and related drone and security technologies. It’s a trusted supplier to global airports and the UK Ministry of Defence, and has positioned itself at the forefront of technology, working closely with academia and winning R&D funding in the UK.

OSL has strong partnerships across the industry, ranging from leading defence organisation to niche small and mid-sized suppliers. It also has a longstanding deal with Heathrow Airport, which has made a multi-million investment in counter-drone technology, as well as a global partnership with Thales, a world leader in air traffic control.

The business has already achieved impressive growth in domestic markets but, with our support, is now embarking on an ambitious international expansion strategy. It plans to expand into Europe, Asia and Australia, with multiple trials ongoing at airports across the world.

Our investment has given OSL the means to rapidly fast-track its growth ambitions. This includes bringing in a host of new talent (particularly in R&D, engineering, and business development), as well as acquiring AI and video analytics company Rinicom Intelligent Solutions (RIS), which has enabled the company to significantly enhance its capabilities for the delivery of world-leading situational intelligence.
